Cruise liner ‘Aida Diva’, bearing the Italian flag, arrived in Marmaris. Sources said that there were 2,134 tourists, mostly German, and 563 employees in the cruise liner, which came to Marmaris from Heraklion Port of Greece within the scope of Mediterranean tour. The eleven-storey ship was in the limelight for tourists on holiday in Marmaris. After getting off the ship, some tourists travelled in city center and spent time in restaurants and cafeterias on seaside, while some others took one-day sea tours. Marmaris port authorities maintained that the cruise liner would continue to visit the district at certain intervals during the season, adding it was the fifth time that ‘Aida Diva’ had come to Marmaris in 2013. The 250-meter long cruise liner, with a weight of 69 thousand gross tones, was added to Aida Cruises company's line in 2007. It features suite cabins, swimming pools, saunas, massage rooms, sport facilities, casinos and showrooms.
