"Greece is certainly going through a crisis, but this has no impact on security and tourism." In fact, ''in some cases it could lead to lower prices without lower quality." Giorgos Mamalos, press advisor of the Greek embassy in Rome, who reassures Italians who choose to spend their holidays in Greece. "Italian tourists can feel one hundred percent safe," Mamalos told ANSA, "and may take advantage of opportunities created by the crisis, like falling prices. The establishments are open, cultural life continues in all cities, Athens first of all." The clashes that took place in the Greek capital a few months ago were isolated incidents, he added, "local events that have not spread to the rest of the country."
