In an effort to increase awareness on Hong Kong’s cultural offering, Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) in collaboration with Al Rais Travels will roll out a three-day promotional event. The event scheduled to take place from 3-5 October 2013 at Mirdif City Centre will showcase unique cultural and family attractions. The promotional event will include Kung Fu performances and classes, fun mascot character, face painter and fun photo opportunity corners of Hong Kong’s key family attractions: Ocean Park, Hong Kong Disneyland, Ngong Ping 360, Big Bus Tours and Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Anthony Lau, executive director of HKTB, said: “There is much that our city has to offer particularly for residents of the GCC region. We look forward to offering them a flavour of Hong Kong during this event.” In a further bid to tap into the GCC market, HKTB also has an Arabic version of its website DiscoverHongKong.com. The portal provides tailored-information for Arabic visitors. Source: Travel Daily
