The next edition of ILTM Africa 2014 will see an extra day added to the event. The decision was made by the organiser post a well-attended first event – the ILTM Africa 2013 – in Cape Town. The extra day will have pre-scheduled appointments for the African luxury travel industry to meet with up to 150 Africa specialists from across the globe. Over 8,500 targeted luxury travel business meetings are planned to take place during ILTM Africa, scheduled from 28 – 30 April 2014. With the continued growth of Sub-Saharan travel destinations, inbound tourism arrivals to Africa reached a new record figure of 53 million in 2012. Confirmed participants include Wilderness Safaris, Dare to Explore, Victoria Falls’ Elephant Camp, Western Cape’s Grand Dedale and Virgin Limited Edition, returning to build on their business success at ILTM Africa earlier this year. Newcomers to the guest list include Zimbabwe’s Baines’ River Camp who will introduce their new river cruise. Source: Travel Daily
