United Airlines has expanded its in-flight entertainment technology so that Android users can wirelessly stream movies and TV shows on their tablets and mobile phones.
The expansion comes after the US carrier launched a beta test earlier this year for laptop computers and Apple devices.
Now, Android users can take advantage of the same services as their fellow iOS seatmates by downloading hundreds of movies and TV shows on their wifi-enabled mobile devices and laptops.
Travelers can confirm the availability of personal device entertainment by checking Inflight Amenities under Flight Status information.
To use, flyers must download the latest United app, now available on both Google Play and iTunes.
