Iran prepares to cancel Iraqi entry visas

The Iranian government expressed its readiness to cancel entry visas for Iraqi citizens. The Iranian consul official in Basra said: "Iran is waiting on Iraq's decision in this regard." He added that Iranian and Iraqi officials should take all necessary measures to cancel entry visas. Over 4000 Iraqis attempt to obtain Iranian visas from the Iranian Consulate in Basra on a daily basis.
