Iran, Russia, India review expand co-tourism

Gyeongju, South Korea, Oct 15, IRNA -- Director of Iranian Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Ruhollah Ahmadzadeh-Kermani on Saturday reviewed the ways of expanding the cooperation on Tourism with Russia and India. In two separate meeting with his Russian and Indian counterparts on the sidelines of 19th meeting of United Nations World Tourism Organization General Assembly in Gyeongju, South Korea, Ahmadzadeh-Kermani called for boosting cooperation on Tourism. Ahmadzadeh-Kermani said, 'We must focus on regional potentials as an effective way to accelerate the growth in tourism as a means of International convergence to reach a sustainable development in tourism.' The four days 19th general Assembly meeting of UNTO started on October the 8 with participation high ranking delegations from 160 countries and ended on Friday October 14 in Gyeongju. Ahmadzadeh-Kermani was elected as member of the Assembly's Board of Directors on the first day of the meeting.
