Iran, Syria to increase tourism cooperation

Iran’s Ambassador to Damascus Hojatoleslam Ahmad Mousavi conferred on Thursday with Syrian Minister of Tourism Lamia Assai on expansion of cooperation between the two countries. At the meeting, the two sides called for expansion of mutual relations and cooperation and urged removal of current obstacles for Iranian pilgrims. They also explored grounds for attracting more Syrian tourists to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Iranian ambassador had already conferred with other high ranking Syrian officials on expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
