A Japanese tourist delegation arrived in Luxor on Tuesday to get firsthand information about the security situation here before resuming trips to the Upper Egyptian city.
The delegation groups owners of 50 major Japanese travel agencies.
They visited tourist attractions in Luxor and are scheduled to meet with Governor Tarek Saad Eddin and Security Chief Muntasir Abu Zayed at the end of their three-day stay.
