
The head of the Lower House Tourism and Antiquities Committee, MP Amjad Meslamani, discussed on Tuesday with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mojtaba Ferdowsi, ways to promote tourism between the two countries.
Meslamani stressed the importance of upgrading tourism relations and called for increased coordination and exchange of expertise, stressing the need to remove any hurdles facing Iranian tourists and redressing shortcomings in the tourism sector.
The ambassador spoke of the need to exchange expertise through cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and other authorities and praised the Amman Message as a model tool to confront terrorism that harms the Islamic faith.
