Kuwaitis exempted from new Egypt visa requirements

Kuwaiti nationals are not required to obtain a tourist visa to visit Egypt, Head of Egypt's Consular Mission here Hala el Beshlawi said on Thursday.
Beshalwi's remarks came as the Egyptian authorities announced that individual tourists arriving in the country will be required to apply for a visa at an Egyptian consulate prior to arrival at the airport.
The decision, starting May 15, does not affect tour groups, which can still purchase visas at ports of entry.
