
Kuwaitis rank third among GCC tourists lured by Swiss tourism during summer and winter times, according to the representative of the Swiss tourism in the Gulf.
Tawfic Melli, Switzerland Representative for the GCC, said in remarks to KUNA number of tourists from the Gulf region reached some 221,000 in September 2014, 22 percent higher than same period of 2013. The largest number of the GCC tourists came from Saudi Arabia. followed by the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and lastly Bahrain.
Switzerland has launched diverse entertainment programs on the 150th winter tourism anniversary, making the nation on top of winter tourism attractions worldwide, luring millions of recreation seekers during the winter per year.
