Libya might use local airport for international flights

Libya's local Zuwarah airport, west of Tripoli, will receive international flights, as fighting around the country's main airport escalated, the head of the airport said.
He said the airport technically is able to receive international flights.
He called on airliners to check their airport's capabilities before using it.
Libya has used the small Matiga airport in Tripoli for civilian traffic since the main airport was turned into a battlefield last month.
