Luxor Governor Tarek Saadeddin met Thursday with a Japanese tourist delegation that grouped 50 tour operators.
The visit aims at making sure that conditions are well in the province and that tourist activities are restored.
Saadeddin welcomed the delegation after the Japanese journeys to Luxor stopped for a year.
The governor told the delegation that the security conditions were stable in the province.
The delegation visited the tourist sites in the province and hailed the efforts exerted to restore security and stability.
The tour operators promised to write a report demanding the return of tourists to Luxor and increasing the EgyptAir flights.
