
Minister of Transport, Amar Ghoul said announced Sunday in Algiers, the opening of a "thorough and detailed investigation" into aircraft accidents within the National airline company "Air Algérie."
"Stringent measures have been taken as a thorough and detailed investigation was opened by the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Transport into Air Algérie," Ghoul said in a statement to the press on the sidelines of departure of the first group of Algerian hajjis from Houari Boumedienne airport to the Holy Places of Islam.
"It is an audit which pertains to management, recruitment, supervision and quality of services of Air Algérie," the minister added.
