Toga Hotels has announced plans to expand its Travelodge brand in Sydney. Scheduled to open in late 2015, the new Travelodge Mascot will be located close on King Street – less than a kilometre from Sydney Airport. The budget hotel will feature 209 rooms, while more than 5,100m² of commercial space will be available above the property. “We’re excited to soon add a second airport location to our hotel portfolio, following our recent appointment to manage Travelodge Hobart Airport from October,” said Rachel Argaman, CEO of Toga Hotels. “With airport capacity increasing and the new master plan for Sydney Airport, Travelodge Mascot will offer a convenient and great value option for business and leisure guests.” Travelodge Mascot will take Travelodge’s portfolio to 19 hotels across Australia and New Zealand.
