Number of EgyptAir flights decreased by 10%

The number of EgyptAir flights has decreased by 10 percent because of the never-ending events in the country that affect air traffic movement, an official at Cairo Airport said Monday. The number of inbound and outbound flights reached 290 instead of 310 per day, the official said. While, the number of passengers decreased by 20 percent from 35000 to 28000 passengers daily, he added. The official expected the situation to worsen with the continuation of protests and sit-ins in the country.
