
Director of Visas and Residence at the Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa announced today that the number of visas issued for visitors of the Jewellry Arabia Exhibition 2014 that will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa from November 18 to 22, increased by 26% compared to last year.
He said that the procedures of issuing visas for Jewellery Arabia 2014 have been facilitated through the website www.evisa.gov.bh as part of the NPRA’s strategy to promote tourism, commercial activities and international exhibitions in Bahrain.
NPRA has implemented the Ministerial Edict No. 224/2014 that grants nationals of 66 countries upon arrival visas and e-visa to 102 countries from October. The facilities cover tourists, visitors, investors, businessmen with direct foreign investment in Bahrain.
