Oman tourism investment gets underway

The first Oman Tourism Investment Conference was recently inaugurated under the patronage of Sayyid Taimour al Said, assistant secretary-general for International Cooperation at The Research Council. The two-day conference is being organised by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), in conjunction with the Federation of the GCC Chambers of Commerce (FGCCC). The conference will highlight the tourism potential of the sultanate and the investment atmosphere in the sector, as well as highlighting tourism as an industry, in light of Oman’s keenness to diversify its income sources.
