The Palm Jumeirah is among the top global "architectural wonders” to visit, according to online travel company Expedia.
Although the Burj Khalifa was mentioned as the world's tallest tower, the man-made island was praised for its "structural and artistic genius with the elaborate palm tree shape” in an article titled Must-see Architectural Wonders During Your Travels.
Expedia also mentioned Chicago's Willis Tower, New York's Guggenheim Museum, and Florence's Duomo, the world's third largest church famed for revolutionary architecture.
