
A tourist group arrived on Friday at Port Tawfiq harbor, the first of its kind in three years.
Suez Governor el Araby el Serwi and senior officials received the 275-member group upon arrival.
The cruise ship came from Germany, Head of the Red Sea Ports Authority Hesham Abu Senna said.
Six trips are scheduled to arrive at Port Tawfiq harbor. the port would receive a trip every Friday till January 29 to promote tourism, he added.
The tourists headed for Cairo, where they will pay a one-day tour of archaeological sites, Abu Senna said.
