Ecuadorian Ambassador to Egypt German Espinosa said that boosting economic and trade cooperation along with promoting tourism and operating a direct airline between Egypt and Ecuador are top priorities to him.
Egypt is very important to Ecuador, Espinosa told MENA in statements on the occasion of presenting his credentials.
Ecuador wants to boost political and diplomatic relations with Egypt, he said.
He asserted that, during his term in Egypt, he will work on supporting cultural and trade exchange.
The Ecuadorian embassy is preparing for a high-ranking visit to Egypt including government figures and businessmen in 2015, Espinosa said.
Espinosa said that he will study the possibility of establishing a direct flight between Egypt and Ecuador.
He voiced keenness on learning Arabic to communicate with the Egyptians.
