Governor of Qalyubia Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Zaher unveiled on Sunday the start of the establishment of two new bridges to ease traffic congestion at Banha's entrances and downtown.
The two bridges are to be constructed by the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces (EAAF) at a cost of EGP 200 million, said the governor.
The two projects are due to be completed in a year and a half, added Abdel-zaher.
Another new EGP 11 million-cost tunnel is also under construction to solve the traffic problem in all roads and squares in Benha, governor said.
