Qatar Airways (QA) Tuesday launched QVouchers for passengers to avail discount on flights destinations within the GCC.
It is a new way for passengers to apply a 15% discount on flights to various destinations within the GCC, QA said today.
QVouchers are in the form of an e-booklet that includes 10 vouchers of 15% discount each and valid for Economy Class bookings only on one-way and return tickets.
The QVouchers are valid for flights from Doha to Dubai, Al Maktoum International Airport, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Muscat and Sharjah.
With more than 300 combined weekly flights to the various destinations, passengers will have plenty of opportunities to take advantage of the QVouchers, QA said.
QA Senior Vice President Commercial Ehab Amin said, "Qatar Airways always looks for innovative ways to make our five-star service more flexible. Our new QVouchers are a perfect example of this." Privilege Club members also have advantage of earning QMiles on flights purchased using the QVoucher discount. Family members listed under their membership for redemption are also eligible to earn QMiles, QA said.
The benefits of a Privilege Card membership include unlimited lounge access, extra baggage allowance as well as priority check.
QVouchers are available for purchase up to January 21, 2015 with the book of 10 vouchers being offered for only QAR 800. Travel on flights purchased with the QVouchers discount must be completed on or before October 21, 2015.
QVouchers can be purchased at any Qatar Airways sales office, a preferred travel agent or qatarairways.com/qvouchers, QA added.
