
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Bahraini counterpart Khaled ben Ahmed al Khalifa signed on Wednesday an agreement to cancel visa system for holders of diplomatic and private passports of both countries.
The two sides have agreed on the deal during the two latest visits of Bahraini King Hamd ben Issa ben Salman and Crown Prince Salman ben Hamad al Khalifa to Russia.
Talks between Lavrov and the Bahraini top diplomat covered the developments in the Middle East, including the Syrian crisis.
The Bahraini minister arrived in the Russian capital on Tuesday for talks on enhancing bilateral cooperation.
