
Russia hopes that air flights to Egypt would resume soon, said a senior official with the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
In press statements on Wednesday, ATOR Deputy Chairman Dmitry Gorin voiced hope that Russian flights to Egypt would resume by the end of January or February next year, according to Russia Today TV channel.
Egyptian Ambassador here Mohamed el Badry told Novosti news agency on Tuesday that Cairo hopes for resuming the flight movement between both countries by the end of next January.
Air flights between both countries had been suspended after a Russian plane crashed over the Egyptian peninsula of Sinai on October 31.
