Russian delegation arrives to inspect airport security

A delegation representing the Russian aviation authority arrived here Monday to inspect the security measures at Cairo International Airport to secure planes, cargoes, buildings and passengers to prepare a final report on this regard.

The Head of the Security Department in EgyptAir Tarek Zaki said that the delegation groups four senior inspectors of the Russian civil aviation authority.

The delegation began holding meetings with the officials, Zaki underlined, adding that the apparatuses working in the airport are ready for inspection operations whether regional and international especially after the airport successfully passed the comprehensive revision carried out by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
