The owners of a club in Sardinia's Emerald Coast have begun legal proceedings against six Russian tourists who failed to settle an 86,000 euro bill, the l'Unione Sarda newspaper said on Monday. The three young couples claimed to be children of rich Moscow businessmen and ordered some 90 bottles of vintage champagnes, staff cited by the newspaper said. But when the time came to pay the bill, the group said they did not have any money on them. The captain of the yacht where the group was staying said he would come the following day to settle up, but failed to do so. The Billionaire nightclub is owned by Formula-1 manager Flavio Briatore and is known for rich and celebrity clients. The partygoers and the yacht's owner are facing fraud charges, l'Unione Sarda said.
