
Some 506 pilgrims arrived in Safaga port on Tuesday coming from the Saudi port of Yanbu on board Amana ferryboat after performing the small pilgrimage.
Safaga port offers all facilities to pilgrims, Red Sea Ports Media Spokesman Abdel Rehim Mostafa said, adding that the port also received 192 cargo vessels, while 50 trucks loaded with commodities left for the Saudi port of Dhaba on board Al Hurriya ferryboat.
El Zayteyat port in Suez received a cargo ship carrying 6,000 tons of butane gas coming from Yanbu, he said, adding that 173 container ships left Port Tawfiq as well for King Abdallah Port in Saudi Arabia.
Al Adabiya port in Suez received a ship carrying 9,800 tons of oils coming from Jeddah port in Saudi Arabia, while a cargo vessel left for Port Tawfiq with 4,000 tons of commodities on board, he added.
