Emirates flight EK 572 scheduled for Kolkata was forced to return to Dubai International Airport yesterday when the aircraft suffered a loss of cabin pressure. An Emirates spokesperson told Gulf News: "Emirates confirms that its flight EK 572 en route to Kolkata returned to Dubai due to a loss of cabin pressure and arrived at 15:10 local time." Replacement The airline is currently investigating the matter and was taking all steps to minimise any inconvenience to its passengers, the spokesman added. According to Emirates, the flight, which had 184 passengers and 14 crew on board, was scheduled for departure with a replacement aircraft at 5:30pm local time yesterday. "The safety of our passengers and crew is always of paramount importance," said the Emirates spokesperson.
