THY launches direct flights to Maldives

Turkey's flag carrier airlines company, the Turkish Airlines, has launched direct flights to Maldives, the THY said. The first THY flight from Istanbul to Maldives was made on Saturday. The company will fly to Maldives every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday as the round trips will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Maldives marks THY's 206th destination and 92nd country.
