Tiger Airways is to increase its flights to Kuching and Penang in Malaysia, and Haikou in China over the August holiday period. The airline will operate flights to Kuching and Penang twice daily between 17 and 26 August 2012. Flights to Haikou will increase to 5-times weekly, from 3-times weekly, between 1 and 31 August 2012. “With the increased frequencies to Kuching and Penang over the Hari Raya Puasa season, our customers will find it easier to make plans to celebrate and spend time with family and friends over the holiday season,” said Stewart Adams, Managing Director of Tiger Airways Singapore. “Holiday seekers can also head for sunny Haikou for a quick break. The Hainan capital is renowned for its paradise island appeal. Its six-kilometre long coastline boasts of golden beaches and crystal clear waters – the perfect setting for that dream beach vacation.”
