
Minister of Tourism Hisham Za'azoa discussed on Wednesday with Japan's Ambassador to Egypt Takehiro Kagawa the Japanese tourism movement into Egypt and means to operate direct flights between the two countries.
In press statements, the minister expressed Egypt's readiness to support direct flights between the two sides.
The minister called on ambassadors accredited in Cairo to convey to the people in their countries the true image of Egypt in terms of political stability in order to bring tourism movement in Egypt back to normal.
For his part, the Japanese ambassador expressed happiness over the years he spent in Egypt and learned Arabic, pointing out that the Japanese people are interested in Egypt's ancient civilization.
