Traffic to be suspended at Rafik Hariri Airport

The Rafik Hariri International Airport will suspend air traffic for four hours on Thursday March 21 starting at 10am, the airport administration announced Tuesday. The move is meant to show solidarity with the Union Coordination Committee which has been leading demands for a new wage structure to be referred to parliament for approval. The airport administration said the traffic halt will not apply to Lebanese or other government flights, emergencies and flyovers. According to the statement, the take-off or arrival schedule of 13 flights will be affected.
