Tunisair staff to be reduced by 1700 in 2013

Some 1,700 of Tunisair's officers will be laid off during the 2013-2014 period as part of its plans to ease the burden of the wage costs, Agence Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP) said. The plans were announced by CEO of Tunisair Rabah Jrad during a meeting with the press in the Tunis stock market. It is to be noted that thee company counts presently a staff of 8,500 officers.
