Turkish Airlines decorated 'Airline of the Year'

Temel Kotil, the director general of the Turkish Airlines (THY), has said, "We have the cheapest fares across Europe." Turkish Airlines was decorated with the "Airline of the Year" at the 2013 Air Transport News Award Ceremony in Montreal, Canada. Assessing the success of THY, Kotil said that THY kept growing and reminded that THY was flying to 221 destinations. Speaking to AA after the awards ceremony, "We connect Europe to Middle East and second best in connecting Europe to Asia. We were picked as Europe's best airlines two years in a row. We also have the cheapest fare across Europe," informed Kotil.
