
International visitor arrivals to Vietnam continued to rise in November 2013. According to the latest data from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), the country welcomed 731,030 international visitors last month, up 8.8% compared to November 2012. The growth continued to be driven by emerging markets, with arrivals from Russia surging 53.4% to 35,750 and visitation from China up 18.8% to 190,310. For the first 11 months of the year, Vietnam has now welcomed 6.85 million visitors, up 10.2% year-on-year. China (+34.1% to 1.73m visitors) remains the country’s largest source market, accounting for more than 25% of total arrivals.
