
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ruler’s representative in the Western Region has approved the launch of two weekly flights at discounted rates between Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi and Dalma Island in the Western Region. HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed commended the service as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative by Rotana Jet and Western Region Development Council and National Transport & Contracting Company (NTCC). He underlined providing support for the private sector as a major partner in the process of overall and sustainable development of the Western Region. In addition to Dalma Island, Rotana Jet operates domestic flights to other destinations within Abu Dhabi and to other emirates, as well as international flights to Muscat and Manama, all from the airliner’s base in Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi.
