Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou met with Head of the Egyptian-Italian Friendship Association Antonio Badini.
During the meeting, the minister underlined the importance of the Italian market for the Egyptian tourism, adding that Italy comes fourth in the number of tourists who visit Egypt.
Italy is the first country from where one million tourists came to Egypt in 2004, which shows that the Italians adore Egypt, Zaazou noted.
The get-together took up also preparations for a visit to be paid by a high-level delegation grouping 30 Italian investors in various fields in January 2015.
The Italian side said that the delegation will discuss some issues such as tourism, industry, food, construction, social population technology, communication as well as information technology.
