Mousl’s left coast is fully liberated from ISIS militias, while the elite forces managed to kill over seven hundred extremists loyal to the terrorist group, said Iraq’s Anti-Extremism Authority Taleb Shaghaty on Wednesday.

He added, during a press conference, that the Iraqi security forces managed to control the left coast impressively, saying that the forces repelled over three hundred car bomb and a large number of  suicide bombers.

The Iraqi leader praised the bravery and will of Iraqi soldiers who confronted the terrorists with deep patience and faith, as they believe the sanctity of their duty to defend their countries’ territories.

He added, “The leaders of Anti-Extremism Authority proved their combat skills that impressed the world and performed the major role to liberate the land from the terrorists in only three months and restoring control on the different neighborhoods in the left coast.”

He underlined the keenness of the Iraqi forces to implement human rights rules in dealing with the civilians, stressing that death toll among the extremist fighters climbed to 3300 since the beginning of the military operation to liberate Mousl.

He signaled that the forces monitored the massive destruction committed by the extremists at the shrine of Prophet Yunus.

Regarding the role performed by the Iraqi air forces, He praised their participation in cooperation with the international coalition led by the U.S, saying that they performed a major role in the air strikes that targeted the extremists’ strangleholds and coordination with the foreign forces.

He stressed that the Iraqi forces will take more serious steps to eliminate ISIS during the coming days, clarifying that their job in Mousl’s right coast will be easier the previous missions. He added, “The increasing civilians existed in the left coast were a major challenge during our operations against ISIS there.”

In the same context, Iraqi General Ma’an Al Saady praised the performance of Iraqi forces, saying that they managed to achieve their job to the fullest causing material and humanitarian damage to the elements of the extremist organization.

He added that the forces managed to liberate ten neighborhoods in the left coast on Tuesday, including the archeological area and the area of forests.
