Demonstration started from the Change square to Alzeraa Street
Six protesters were killed today, and dozens wounded by the security forces, and armed men disguised in civilian clothes loyal to the Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh in Sanaa. According to the medical
sources in the Change Square.
The sources told ‘Arabstoday’ that the security forces and the army, attacked one of the two demonstrations emerged on Tuesday from the Change square, passing through Bab Alqa’a neighborhood, eastern the square.
Eyewitness and source among opposition, said that this demonstration started from the Change square to Alzeraa Street, but forces loyal to Saleh attacked the demonstration, using live bullets and tear gas bombs, which resulted the killing of six people and wounding about 60 others. Pointing out that some of them are seriously injured, as they were shot at heads and chest.
Medical sources said that there is a number of women among the wounded people who arrived to the field hospital, where one of them is seriously injured.
Yemeni President’a loyalists have also kidnapped demonstrators, during their attack on the demonstration; some of them were injured during the attack.
Abdel Rahman Barman, a lawyer and an activist, said in a press statement that the president’s loyalists have kidnapped 8 girls while they were participating in a peaceful demonstration .he added that the girl were taken to one of the Republican officer’s houses’, Mijahed Amer’s.
