Algerian midfielder Abdelmoumen Djabou
Arsenal and Marseille have failed to convince the Tunisian club to sell their Algerian midfielder Abdelmoumen Djabou.
Club Manager Slim Riahi said on Wednesday that he refused the two offers from Marseille and
Arsenal.
A spokesman for the Tunisian football club said that the club was very happy to attract international attention, but that the financial offers did not live up to their expectations: “We are now on the right track and we want to keep our stars.”
Riahi added: "We want to renew contracts with our prominent stars, this is our first target. Then we will export our player externally.”
Abdelmoumen Djabou joined the African club last summer after leaving Algerian Wefak Satif club. He signed a contract with the African club for two seasons for 2 million euros.
