Algerian striker Nabil Ghilas
Seria A team Bologna have reportedly enquired about the availability of Algerian forward Nabil Ghilas.
The 23-year-old is attracting
interest from several European clubs after netting 13 times for Portuguese Primeira Liga team Moreirense last season.
On Sunday, Ghilas told reporters he would like to join Portuguese giants Porto, for a chance to play in the UEFA Champions League.
English clubs West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and Everton have all been credited with an interest in the striker, but he seemed to suggest that a deal with Porto was imminent.
"I am much closer to Porto than any other team," he explained.
"I would like to play in the Champions League and that makes a big difference.
"To go to England could have been perfect but when the biggest club in the league come to you, you take notice,
"Nothing is done yet but we are not far from agreeing everything with them."
In March, Ghilas made his debut for the Algerian national in a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Benin.
