Ismail Diarra has left Cercle Bamako
Egyptian club Ismaily have announced the signing of Malian striker Ismail Diarra on a four-year deal.
In a statement on the club's official website, Ismaily confirmed that the former
Cercle Bamako frontman is a replacement for Libyan midfielder Nader Al-Tarhoni, who was recently released by the club. "Diarra will be registered in the club’s squad for the Arab Champions League and African Confederation Cup," the statement said.
Diarra, 22, finished joint top scorer at last year's Confederation Cup with five goals.
Ismaily have also signed striker Abdel-Fattah Saied from second division team Banha. The club is preparing for the new Egyptian Premier League season, which is scheduled to begin on February 2.
