Sidi Youssef Ben Ali Stadium in Marrakech
The Moroccan Football Federation has hired a Spanish company to fix problems identified by FIFA officials during their recent stadium inspection ahead of December's 2013 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Organising
Committee for the FIFA Club World Cup recently handed the federation a report detailing its concerns with training facilities.
The federation has now signed a €300,000 deal with a Spanish construction firm for works to be carried out at Sidi Youssef Ben Ali Stadium, al-Zarqatooni Stadium and Araby Bin Mubarak Stadium, ahead of the committee's second visit on May 22.
The Moroccan federation moved swiftly to deal with the problems highlighted by the FIFA committee, and selected the Spanish firm due to its good relationship with FIFA.
