The match will take place at the Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Sport City Stadium
Saudi football club, al-Hilal, will host Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca (WAC) on Tuesday evening at the Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Sport City Stadium in a friendly
match that will prepare both teams for local leagues.
Al-Hilal General Manager Sami Al-Jaber said he wants to assess his team’s performance before the beginning of the Saudi Professional League in 10 days, while the WAC coach Abdul Rahim Taleb will use the match as preparation for the Moroccan Professional League starting August 23.
The two teams met in the finals of the last Arab Champions League in early the 1990’s, where WAC won the title.
Last time they met however was three years ago in the Saudi city of Abha.
WAC will meet with Ahli Jeddah on Thursday in another friendly match, before returning to Morocco to prepare for the new season.
