Liverpool midfielder Raheem Sterling
England added Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling to their squad on Saturday ahead of Tuesday's final World Cup qualifier against Poland at London's Wembley Stadium. Sterling helped the England Under-21 team beat their San Marino
counterparts 4-0 on Tuesday.
He came into the senior set-up after manager Roy Hodgson lost the services of Manchester United's Tom Cleverley before England's 4-1 qualifying win over Montenegro at Wembley on Friday and then saw Kyle Walker collect a suspension during that match that ruled him out of Tuesday's fixture
Victory over Montenegro preserved England's lead at the top of European qualifying Group H and meant they will now secure a place at next year's World Cup finals in Brazil if they beat Poland.
