London – Caroline Kent
British Prime Minister David Cameron hosted a reception at his state residence 10 Downing Street on Monday to celebrate the launch of Men’s Fashion Week. Guests included the best of British designers, brand leaders from our most renowned
fashion labels and some of fashion's key commentators.
Tom Ford, Jonathan Saunders, Lou Dalton, Richard James, Dylan Jones (British GQ & Chair of the Menswear Committee) Natalie Massenet MBE and Patrick Grant (all pictured) were amongst David’s guests. In his speech at the reception David Cameron said: "In Britain, we have always had the infrastructure of a fantastic industry. We have the best fashion colleges in the world. We produce some of the most creative and brilliant designers in the world. We produce fantastic brands." Dapper ‘Sherlock Holmes’ actor Benedict Cumberbatch commented: "We've got some of the leading designers in the world and that's really something to be proud of."
