Miracoco Luminarium attracts visitors and continues

Al Montazah Amusement and Water Park in Sharjah continues to host the Miracoco Luminarium light sculpture, which has been welcoming fans as part of its 2016 spring campaign every day from 12 noon till 9:00 pm until 19 March.

During the first four days of its launch, Miracoco Luminarium light sculpture saw a large turnout by families and visitors, who spent a fun and entertaining time inside the sculpture. The sculpture’s unique design, which comes in the form of a huge air-filled body, allowing visitors to enter, walk around and enjoy the wonderful passages, turns, and high domes that intertwine with one another in an inspiring mix of designs and geometric shapes.

The Miracoco Luminarium has a special design that reflects a mixture of Islamic architecture and harmonious sculptures, which are integrated with each other to offer visitors a unique experience in which light and color blend in an impressive artistic image.
Organized in collaboration with Architects of Air from the UK, the luminarium is a monumental inflatable sculpture people can enter and move around inside. It is described as a dazzling maze of winding paths and soaring domes where shapes meld into an inspiring mix of design and engineering creating a sensory experience for all the family to enjoy.

Al Montazah – Amusement and Water Park, formerly known as “Al Jazeera Park” offers thrilling water rides and a lavish leisure park, with new leisure amenities continuously being added to the park, Al Montazah is Sharjah’s number one family destination.

Thanks to its strategic location near the Government Departments Complex, Central Market and Khalid Lagoon and easy to reach from other emirates in the country, as well as the leisure facilities and services, Al Montazah has become one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in terms of visitors. It provides visitors with about 229 parking lots, four of them are dedicated for the handicapped, in addition to the parking near the Flag Island on the opposite side, which allows visitors to spend time enjoying the beautiful atmosphere in the park.

Al Montazah consists of two main sections; the Water Park which offers world-class facilities and water rides, and the Amusement Park that offers a variety of electronic games, it also includes kart racing, two mini football playgrounds. The park’s newest attraction, ‘Al Montazah Adventures’, consists of various games and obstacle courses that strengthen the body and mind. This series of outdoor activities, which caters to both sport novices and seasoned athletes alike, provides visitors with the opportunity to climb ropes, mount walls and cross trails, encouraging an exciting combination of teamwork and exploration.

Recently, Al Montazah has won the Sharjah Tourism Excellence Award for 2014 as the best new tourist destination in the emirate in recognition of its world-class facilities and services, making it a unique tourist destination for families and tourists.
