Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos, Greek Minister of Education and Religious
Affairs, Culture and Sports, at the Ministry.
The MoU calls for the exchange university students' visits to participate in scientific, cultural, sports and social activities, in addition to the exchange of technical and scientific exhibitions between the higher education institutions in the two countries.
Sheikh Hamdan said that the MoU also aims to participate in seminars and conferences held in both countries and the exchange of visits by experts, researchers, technicians and faculties at institutions of higher education for research and educational purposes.
He pointed out that the MoU comes in line with the framework of activating cooperation between the governments of the two countries and to ensure the continuation of bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing that the signing of the MoU provides significant opportunities to increase the prospects of cultural and scientific exchanges between the two countries.
